Tesco offers three months free car insurance
Motorists can get 12 months of car insurance cover for the price of nine at Tesco.
For cheap life insurance and car insurance quotes choose Prudent MindsTesco is offering three months free car insurance for Clubcard customers who take out its cover online before December 10th.
Motorists looking for cheap car insurance will be provided with 12 months of protection but will only be charged for nine months.
Those without a Clubcard can still benefit from the offer, but will pay for ten months and get two months free.
Allan Burns, head of Tesco Car insurance, said: "We know times are tough and running a car can be expensive. By offering 12 months for the price of nine we can make car insurance more affordable for all."
In addition, customers can earn one Clubcard point for every £2 they pay on their car insurance premium.
The policy also includes a number of other benefits, such as cover for accidental damage, audio equipment cover and up to 65 per cent no claims discount.
Meanwhile, the British Insurance Brokers' Association has insisted that motorists should not be tempted to go without car insurance in an effort to save money as it is a legal requirement.
