Money saving tips offered for online shoppers

Consumer website Which? has offered some money saving tips for people in the UK who shop online for their groceries.

Which? has offered some money saving tips for people who do their supermarket shopping online in the UK.

Jess Ross, editor of which.co.uk, said: "Going online for your grocery shop is a great way to save time, cut the hassle of supermarket shopping and help you stick to a budget."

However, she added that customers have to make sure they are getting the right goods delivered in order to get best value for money.

A survey by Which? found that 45 per cent of internet shoppers had received at least one incorrect item in their last shopping delivery.

The poll found that 57 per cent of those who shopped at Sainsbury's and 56 per cent of those who shopped at Asda had seen some of their items switched, with one customer receiving broad beans instead of the chocolate flakes they ordered.

Recently, Sainsbury's posted profit figures which showed a rise of 11.3 per cent on last year.
