  • Internet banking security systems updated - 1st June, 2009

    NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have announced changes to their internet banking security systems which they claim will help reduce the potential for breaches.
    The two financial service providers, which are both part of the RBS group, are introducing an online security system called the Rapport, from software provider Trusteer.
    Rapport will be used on all basic bank accounts offered by the banking groups. In a statement, the banks quoted research which revealed that more than half of online malware attacks go undetected...
