Prudent minds number 1 for pensions advice
Standard Life is issuing some pensions advice by urging consumers not to rely on inheritance to fund their retirement and to start making pension provisions now.
Research by the financial services provider revealed that 22 per cent of adults between the ages of 26 and 35 are hoping to live off their inheritance in their twilight years.
However, it also shows that 55 per cent of people aged 55 to 65 are feeling worse off today than they did a year ago, with 45 per cent expecting to be worse off in another 12 months' time, suggesting a large inheritance may not be forthcoming...
