L&G BEST FOR LIFE INSURANCE

The British Insurance Awards title of best life insurance provider has gone to Legal & General (L&G) for the sixth year running following an awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday night.

L&G's managing director of intermediary solutions, Graham Newitt, collected the award along with Diane Buckley, head of corporate business division.

"Our success has come from our ability to continue to innovate in this market, creating new partnerships, products and services that provide easy access and value for money to our customers," said a delighted Mr Newitt.

Ms Buckley also accepted a technology award for L&G's electronic pensions administration centre.

Accepting the award, Ms Buckley said: "Our technology has been developed and evolved to meet the changing needs of our corporate pensions customers and we are delighted to receive this prestigious award recognising our success."
