Nov 2007

I shop at Tesco on a regular basis, and have been saving up my club card points every time I shop, buy petrol and on my electricity bill too. There are more ways to get points but they are the 3 I get them on. I opted to join the Christmas Saver which means that I don't get my Clubcard vouchers every 3 months like everyone else, I just get mine in November ready for Christmas.
Originally when I received Tesco clubcard vouchers I would just spend them in store, but then I read the Clubcard deals and could not believe that I had been missing out on some really great deals, some of which multiply your vouchers by 4!
I noticed that Goldsmiths were included on this list and so I applied for Goldsmiths Vouchers, there is a minimum spend of £200 but I actually had £140 in Tesco vouchers so I asked for £50 to be changed into Goldsmiths Vouchers and I saved the rest on my account to use on other offers (which I will talk about later).
So off I went with my better half to Goldsmiths at the Trafford Centre in Manchester and here we bought, 1 Armani Watch, 1 Guess Watch, 1 Hot Diamonds Bangle, 1 Amethyst Pendant and 2 pairs of Earring's this came to a bargain price of £201.99, meaning that we actually only paid £1.99. This catered for Christmas and Birthday Presents for both of our Mums, and 2 Christmas presents for friends too!
As you can imagine they were really pleased with the gifts and thought we had really treated them, which felt a little odd as really they were the cheapest presents ever, but they really didn't care so we decided we didn't either. Everyone was happy!
