Once you have completed your loan application it will be assessed by the underwriter of that particular company, a credit check conducted with your permission and things like your income, credit history and status will all be taken into account. A loan offer in principle will be sent to you in writing for you to consider, accept or decline.
Keep in mind that if you fail to make repayments on your personal loan your credit rating will be damaged and this may mean that you could be refused credit in the future, or if you are accepted, the interest rate you are offered may be significantly increased.
